Community & Youth
సంఘం · యువజన
Some of what we do is not a festival. It is a phone call about which school to apply to, or a lift to a hospital appointment, or a teenager finding out that other people grew up between two languages too.

The Youth Wing
యువజన విభాగం
Our young members are British and Telugu at the same time, and they are not confused about it. The youth wing is theirs to run — social events, volunteering, performances, and the occasional argument about which is better.
Open to anyone from about 13 upwards. No experience of anything required.

Dance & Music Classes
నృత్యం · సంగీతం తరగతులు
Kuchipudi, folk dance, and singing — taught by volunteers who learned the same way, and who remember being the child at the back of the hall.
Children build towards performing at our festivals, which is usually where the confidence arrives.

Volunteering
సేవ
Everything on this website happens because someone volunteered. Booking halls, cooking, teaching, setting up chairs, taking photographs, washing up afterwards.
You do not need to commit to anything large. A few hours a term genuinely helps.
New to the UK
కొత్తగా వచ్చినవారు
Arriving in a new country is easier when someone who has already done it answers your questions. Where to shop, how the schools work, which GP to register with, where to find curry leaves.
Come to an event, or write to us. There is no formal programme — just people who have been where you are.
